Boiserie House

In Boiserie House, what begins as a purely decorative element is reinterpreted and simplified to such an extent that it becomes the recurring element and the guiding theme of the designed space. The boiserie theme is simplified and repeated, and variations on the theme have produced a long series of experiments with ever-changing forms, materials and colours. The process of simplification and repetition makes the decorative element the protagonist. Another unifying element of the spaces is the colour blue, which seamlessly connects all the living areas of the house.
