Camera P
The bedroom furniture is structured around a combination of solids and voids, in which different functions alternate along an L-shaped configuration. At the entrance, a large mirror reflects the light coming from the window on the opposite side, enhancing the perception of space. The first section is conceived as a make-up area, enriched by a marble shelf. This is followed by a lightweight powder-coated steel bookcase that develops around a structural column, while a second marble shelf supports a turntable within the recess created in the corner of the room. The final section of the composition consists of a tall storage unit for clothing, incorporating a chest of drawers.
The bed consists of a metal frame echoing the structures used throughout the composition.
To maximise the amount of light within the bedroom and minimise the visual impact of the furniture on the space, lacquered and powder-coated finishes in a “smoke white” colour were chosen, allowing the cabinetry to blend subtly into the white background of the walls. The recessed areas and the use of metal structures further lighten the composition while maintaining a unified volumetric reading.
