Located in the heart of Turin’s historic center, this small apartment design is the result of a study aimed at maximizing space while making the living area the focal point. The living area is separated from the sleeping area by a single wall unit in soft tones, around which the kitchen takes shape, creating a harmonious contrast between the warmth of solid wood and the Carrara marble cladding. A fixed glass panel facing the bedroom diffuses soft light during the day and serves as a built-in lantern for the bedroom in the evening. The project focuses on the use of solid, durable materials, such as teak—a strong, high-quality wood used for the hardwood floors—Carrara marble in the kitchen, and resin in the bathroom.
