Located in the heart of Turin’s historic center, this small apartment design is the result of a study aimed at maximizing space while making the living area the focal point. Il soggiorno è diviso dalla zona notte tramite un’unica parete attrezzata dai toni morbidi, attorno alla quale prende forma la cucina, frutto del contrasto armonico tra il calore del legno massello e il rivestimento in marmo di carrara. Il bagno della zona notte è immaginato come un volume monocromatico scolpito nella muratura. Una vetrata fissa verso la camera diffonde una luce soffusa durante il giorno e diventa lanterna integrata per la camera la sera. The project focuses on the use of solid, durable materials, such as teak—a strong, high-quality wood used for the hardwood floors—Carrara marble in the kitchen, and resin in the bathroom.
